Our Saturday Morning Explanatory Prayer Servicemeets the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:20 AM – 10:45 AM. This warm interactive prayer group is led by Rabbi Bob Garber, who also runs the non-profit organization Our Jewish Children which promotes Jewish education. Bob, has a law degree from Columbia University, Masters in Education from Fordham, and does business and technical consulting. Our Beginners Service is timed to end at the same time as our Traditional Prayer Service and then there is a shared collation.

High Holidays Beginner’s Prayer Services
Do you find services on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur too long, too boring, and perhaps even too irrelevant?
Join us for short services that are meaningful, inspiring and relevant. This is a warm and open forum, where you can not only pray, but also discover the meaning and beauty of the High Holiday prayers. Jews of all different backgrounds will come together for a dynamic experience of spirituality and growth. The Rosh Hashana Service includes the Traditional Blowing of the Shofar on both days. The Yom Kippur Service is followed by the Yizkor Memorial Prayers.
